“Financial literacy is not a privilege — it’s a necessity.”
With this belief at its core, Project Parcham by the Finance and Investment Cell (FIC), ARSD takes financial awareness to the grassroots. Through interactive literacy drives, the initiative empowers underprivileged children with essential money skills — and it’s just getting started.

- FIC X Maharishi Chunnilal Public School
The Finance and Investment Cell of Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College conducted a financial literacy drive under Project Parcham on 16th February 2026 at Maharishi Chunnilal Public School, Hari Nagar, New Delhi. The session was attended by around 250 students from grades 6 to 9, covering key topics such as savings, investing, inflation, taxes, and digital payments in an accessible manner. Students displayed a strong grasp of basic concepts, leading to engaging discussions. Investment and its various avenues emerged as the most popular topics, sparking curiosity and thoughtful questions. By the end, many participants could confidently explain these ideas, making the session impactful, interactive, and deeply rewarding.

- FIC X Saraswati Bal Mandir

On 12th November 2025, Project Parcham, under the Finance and Investment Cell of ARSD, conducted a financial literacy drive at Saraswati Bal Mandir, Rajouri Garden, for Class 8 students. The session introduced essential concepts such as saving, budgeting, and responsible spending, followed by an engaging discussion on taxation, fintech tools, and the basics of investing. The students showed remarkable curiosity, especially while exploring real-life examples like inflation and digital payments. Through interactive activities and practical explanations, the drive aimed to build early financial awareness and confidence among young learners, reinforcing Parcham’s commitment to meaningful community-driven education.
- FIC X Khaliqul Educational Trust
On 1st November 2025, Project Parcham organized a Financial Literacy Drive at Khaliqul Educational Trust, engaging students aged 6 to 15 years.
The lesson involved storytelling, discussions, and real-life examples to make financial concepts more relatable. Students were taught about daily money management, such as saving, budgeting, and a brief introduction to banking and investment opportunities, including mutual funds, gold, and small savings plans.
Relating financial concepts to their everyday experiences, we made students think about how money could grow and be used wisely, helping them be aware, curious, and equipped with the foundation for long-term financial security.

- FIC X uttejana foundation

On 5th October 2025, Project Parcham collaborated with Uttejana Foundation to conduct a Financial Literacy Drive for children aged 8 to 12 years.
The session presented basic money principles in a narrative and action-oriented manner and made sure that the learning process was playful. Using ordinary comparisons and practical activities, we made children comprehend the importance of saving, the distinction between needs and wants, and the necessity to plan in advance. We also introduced them to the fundamentals of banking, how banks are secure places to store money, and such concepts as debit and credit, using interactive examples. The session also discussed the concept of debt and responsible borrowing, where they learned that money needs to be used in a wise and limited manner. Our goal was based on the fact that financial literacy, once implemented at the appropriate age, is the source of confidence, independence, and a better future.
- FIC X yash memorial school
As part of Project Parcham, we conducted a Financial Literacy Drive on 22nd August 2025 at Yash Memorial School, Noida, engaging with students from Classes 9 and 10.
The session was highly interactive and aimed to create an interest about financial concepts in the young minds by means of fun games, practical examples, and interesting discussions. We simplified topics such as budgeting, saving, and smart spending to demonstrate how one can be financially disciplined at any age. The enthusiastic response and interest of the students made the session a lively flow of thoughts and education. Through education and play, we had an objective to develop early financial responsibility in these young learners and enable them to make informed decisions later on in life confidently.

- FIC X Stand n Stride

As part of Project Parcham, we conducted a Financial Literacy Drive on 5th April 2025 in collaboration with 'Stand N Stride' NGO.
Our team visited their centre to interact with underprivileged children and introduce them to the basics of money management, savings, and the value of investing. The session was designed to be engaging and accessible, using interactive activities and relatable everyday examples to make financial concepts easy to grasp.
Beyond just teaching the fundamentals, our goal was to instil confidence, responsibility, and an early awareness of the importance of making informed financial choices. By empowering these young minds with essential skills, we hope to contribute to breaking the cycle of financial insecurity and helping them envision a more secure and self-reliant future.
