ICIKS 2026 unfolded as more than just an academic conference; it emerged as a thoughtfully curated journey of ideas, dialogue, and discovery. Bringing together distinguished academicians, policymakers, industry leaders, and students, the conference created a space where theory met practice and conversations translated into meaningful insights. Over the course of two days, participants were not only exposed to diverse perspectives but were also encouraged to question, engage, and contribute to evolving discussions shaping the professional and academic landscape.

Day 1: 17th March 2026

Inaugural Ceremony

The conference began on a formal yet inspiring note with the inaugural ceremony, which set the intellectual and thematic direction for the days ahead. The presence of Chief Guest, Dr. Vikas Gupta, Registrar, University of Delhi, and Keynote Speaker, CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, President, ICAI, lent both prestige and depth to the occasion. As the ceremony unfolded, the inaugural address emphasized the responsibility of academic institutions in fostering critical thinking and preparing students for a rapidly evolving global environment.

Keynote Session

The event was graced by Chief Guest CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, President, ICAI (2025–26), who delivered a motivational and insightful address. He emphasized the relevance of the Indian Knowledge System in today’s global context and highlighted the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving academic and professional excellence.  His insights not only contextualized the theme of the conference but also encouraged participants to view challenges through a more practical and solution-oriented lens.

Panel Discussion

Building seamlessly on the momentum of the inaugural session, the conference moved into its first panel discussion, where ideas began to take a more conversational and applied form. The panel brought together Mr. Saakshar Duggal, Advocate, Delhi High Court; Mr. Anupam Raj, Deputy Controller General of Accounts (CGA); and Mr. Arvind Talan, CFO, IFFCO each offering a unique lens shaped by their professional experiences.

Research Paper Presentations

Following an engaging morning of discussions, the conference transitioned into a more research-oriented segment. The research paper presentations provided a platform for scholars to contribute to the ongoing discourse, bringing fresh perspectives and data-driven insights into focus. Each presentation added a new dimension to the conference, as participants explored contemporary issues through rigorous analysis and structured arguments.

Day 2: 18th March 2026

Reconnecting with Ideas: Opening and Recap

The second day began by revisiting the highlights of Day 1, creating a sense of continuity and coherence in the overall narrative of the conference. This recap not only reinforced key ideas but also prepared participants to engage more deeply with the sessions ahead, now equipped with a broader context.

Panel Discussion

With the foundation firmly in place, the conference moved into its second panel discussion, which brought together Ms. Dakshita Das, Former Civil Servant and Independent Director; Mr. Ankit Lalit, Associate Director at Deloitte Consulting; and Mr. Janarthanan P K, Joint Director at Sri Mahalaxmi Groups.
This session expanded the scope of discussion by introducing perspectives from governance, consulting, and entrepreneurship. As the conversation unfolded, panelists shared insights into policy implementation, financial risk management, and decision-making in complex environments.

Research Paper Presentations

Maintaining intellectual momentum, the conference once again turned to research presentations, where scholars continued to present their work on emerging topics. This segment reinforced the academic core of the conference, highlighting innovation, critical thinking, and policy relevance.

The discussions that followed each presentation ensured that the exchange remained dynamic, with ideas being questioned, refined, and expanded upon.

A Cultural Interlude

Amidst the intellectually intensive sessions, the inclusion of cultural performances brought a refreshing shift in pace. These performances not only showcased the artistic talents of students but also added vibrancy and balance to the conference.

The transition from analytical discussions to creative expression highlighted the holistic nature of the event, where both intellect and creativity were equally celebrated.

Valedictory Ceremony

As the conference approached its conclusion, the valedictory ceremony provided a moment of reflection and recognition. The session was graced by Chief Guest, Prof. Rajni Abbi, Director, South Campus, University of Delhi, and Chief Guest, Prof. Anil Kumar Rai, Treasurer, ARSD College.

In their addresses, the speakers emphasized the importance of sustained academic engagement, collaboration, and innovation. They acknowledged the efforts of the organizing committee and appreciated the active participation of attendees, which collectively contributed to the success of the conference.

The ceremony brought the two-day journey to a thoughtful close, leaving participants with a sense of accomplishment and inspiration.
